Describe what you do at Arts ISIT

I provide support to staff and faculty in their use of websites and applications developed by Arts ISIT, assist with building websites, and creating training documentation for faculty, staff and internal use.

What is the best thing about the work you do at Arts ISIT?

The people and culture. A job can be challenging or clockwork, but what anchors me at Arts ISIT is the sense of being on a supportive team that encourages thought and ideas by everyone. I love being able to openly collaborate with colleagues to come up with solutions for our faculty and staff in regard to websites and applications, as well as contribute to improving internal workflows and documentation.

Currently, on the development team, my areas of expertise include WordPress support, building websites on WordPress, CSS, HTML, technical documentation and training.

Can you share some of your personal interests or hobbies?

To any readers of fiction, I always recommend Brandon Sanderson’s Mistborn trilogy if you are even the slightest curious about the fantasy genre. You won’t find a better one. Thank me later.

I’m a serial hobbyist and really commit to one at a time by getting all the necessary tools to ensure a full experience while my commitment to this hobby lasts. Skills acquired: sewing easy clothes, sculpting with polymer clay, journaling, jewelry making, drawing and colouring. I have no clue what the next one will be, but they keep me creative.

Erm and I like watching Korean dramas, especially the ones that can make you laugh, require a box of Kleenex and have a happy ending (simple requirements).
