UBC’s license with Collaborate Ultra has been extended until the end of April 2021 to ensure that instructors can continue to conduct live lectures and seminars online, hold virtual office hours, facilitate group discussions, and more.
Available by default in all Canvas courses, the Collaborate Ultra video conferencing platform is free for use, easily accessible, and includes useful and engaging teaching tools, such as a collaborative whiteboard and flexible breakout groups.
