On Tuesday, August 15 and Wednesday, August 16, all Arts staff, faculty, and teaching assistants are welcome to join us in person for insightful knowledge exchange as we prepare for the new academic year together. In the sessions, you will:
- Get a showcase of technological projects and teaching modes in the Faculty of Arts in collaboration with Arts ISIT
- Receive resources and support to prepare for the new academic year
- Explore the full scope of instructional and technological support available from Arts ISIT
- Have a space for intellectual discussion on teaching and learning in times of rapid technological development

The Arts ISIT Welcome Back Conference will take place on the UBC Vancouver Campus, on the third floor of Buchanan B. We acknowledge that the UBC Vancouver campus is situated on the traditional, ancestral, and unceded territory of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam). We are grateful to have the privilege to work, learn, and gather on these lands and look forward to welcoming and celebrating the Arts community in preparation for the upcoming academic year.

- Booth 6. ePortfolios booth | Showcase student and alumni achievements through Arts ePortfolios. Learn how to effectively use this tool in teaching and learning.
- Booth 7. Practical Learning booth | Explore real-world applications of classroom learning at workplaces and in the community. Engage with additional resources and strategies.
