The support of Graduate Academic Assistants (GAA) and Teaching Assistants (TA) has been a key part of the Faculty of Arts’ successful transition to remote learning. To aid GAAs/TAs in their work with online teaching support, Arts ISIT has developed resources tailored to their needs:
- Arts ISIT has created a TA-focused webinar series that will set up TAs and GAAs for success with Canvas and online classroom platforms
- The Arts GAA Forum Canvas course is a space for GAAs to connect with other academic assistants and get access to course building resources
Arts ISIT is also available for troubleshooting or any learning technology questions through email (arts.helpdesk@ubc.ca) or virtual drop in.
