Describe what you do at Arts ISIT
My work involves all things content and communications, in order to support two main areas:
- Engagement: I help manage awareness of Arts ISIT’s services by planning, developing, and distributing communications across our digital channels. I also promote and support events to increase understanding of our tools and services.
- Digital strategy: I advise on content best practices for Arts CMS websites and other Arts ISIT tools in order to enhance user experience, improve SEO, and align with user and organizational goals.
What is the best thing about the work you do at Arts ISIT?
Technology can sometimes seem complex or nebulous, so making it easier for people to understand and discover is a highlight. I enjoy helping Arts faculty and staff use tools that make their work easier, whether it’s by making an interface more user-friendly or presenting information in a more accessible way.
What are your areas of expertise?
My expertise is primarily in communications, particularly planning and developing content for web, editorials, and awareness initiatives. I also have a background in UX writing and content strategy for websites and web applications.
Before Arts ISIT, I was also involved in visual design and worked on graphics, multimedia, and digital creative projects in past roles.

My day-to-day work includes:
- Maintenance of our editorial content calendar and engagement channels (Arts ISIT website, newsletter, and social media)
- Content strategy support for Arts CMS and Arts ISIT projects
- Promotional and logistical support for events
Since joining Arts ISIT in 2024, I’ve also worked on a few projects:
- Lead the planning and promotion of the Arts ISIT Welcome Back Conference
- Content strategy for the renewed CIS website
- UX writing and support for the Arts Ways of Knowing Breadth Explorer and Planning Tool
Can you share some of your personal interests or hobbies?
I enjoy dabbling in different interests outside of work. Some things that keep me busy include:
- Trying matcha and hojicha recipes at home
- Paddle boarding
- Listening to R&B and indie pop music
- Attending lagree classes
- Playing video games
- Meeting people’s pets
