Teaching on Canvas for the first time can be a daunting process, especially when working with a blank course site. Although instructors already have to focus on moving syllabi and assessments to a virtual platform, they must also consider how to provide students with visually engaging and structurally consistent experiences across courses. To help with this transition, Arts ISIT and CTLT have developed the Arts Remote Teaching Template, which provides a blank framework for your Canvas courses and includes useful materials like student resources and surveys. This webinar will feature practical tips on how to use the Template for your Fall courses, led by instructional designers from CTLT with technical support from Arts ISIT. Instructors will also share their experiences with the Template and how they’ve used Canvas rubrics in their courses.
