Describe what you do at Arts ISIT
I am a developer who works on applications and systems supported by Arts ISIT. My responsibilities include infrastructure upgrades, software bug fixes, enhancements, and implementing new features. In addition, I contribute to quality assurance efforts and assist with processing and troubleshooting incoming ServiceNow tickets to support end users.
What is the best thing about the work you do at Arts ISIT?
The best part of my work at Arts ISIT is the teamwork and support from colleagues, which creates a collaborative environment. I enjoy helping users with their inquiries while maintaining the applications and systems the UBC community relies on. The role also lets me engage with diverse technologies and contribute new ideas, keeping the work interesting and rewarding.
What are your areas of expertise?
My areas of expertise include programming in Java, Kotlin, PHP, and SQL, as well as working with WordPress, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. I also have experience across the full development lifecycle, focusing on software development, quality assurance, and DevOps practices.
