Arts ISIT can help support pedagogical design, web development, training, and tool support to best meet your needs and learning objectives. Based on the nature of your request, Arts ISIT can provide recommendations, connect you with relevant support units on campus, or develop in-house solutions based on available resources.
Our learning design and educational technology team works closely with various groups on campus, such as the Centre for Teaching, Learning and Technology (CTLT), UBC IT, and UBC Library, to help coordinate the right type of support services to meet the needs of your project. We also consult and advise on the Teaching and Learning Enhancement Fund (TLEF) and other funding proposals.

- Course design – Our team will provide recommendations on organization and delivery based on your teaching materials and goals.
- Content strategy — Based on your goals and objectives, our team will review your content and propose recommendations for organization and hierarchy to improve the user experience and search engine optimization.
- Development — Our team will establish the infrastructure and architecture of your custom digital solution according to the functional and non-functional requirements, as well as provide recommendations on design elements in accordance with the Arts Visual Identity established by Arts Communications to improve the user experience and accessibility.
- Evaluation — Our team will establish evaluation metrics based on your goals and objectives, facilitate the collection and analysis of data, and provide recommendations for future improvements.
- Training and documentation — Our team will provide one-on-one or group training for maintaining your custom solution.
