Congratulations to the 2024/2025 Teaching and Learning Enhancement (TLEF) Fund recipients!
Created to enrich student learning, the TLEF supports projects that bring innovative and effective educational enhancements to UBC. In the Faculty of Arts, three Large TLEF Transformation Projects and 10 Small TLEF Innovation Projects received a total of $417,737 in funding.
This year’s Arts TLEF projects explore a breadth of disciplines, including the role of generative AI in academic writing and integrity, interactive modules for learning econometrics, hybrid opportunities for language courses, and other teaching and learning topics.
The TLEF will also support two Arts cohorts for the Universal Design for Learning (UDL) program, an initiative that aims to foster a more inclusive and accessible environment for all learners.
