As of September 2022, the Collaborative Learning Annotation System (CLAS) Learning Technology Integration (LTI)
plugin is available to all Canvas courses within the Faculty of Arts.
The integration of Canvas and the Collaborative Learning Annotation System (CLAS) will allow instructors to:
- Create, connect, or duplicate CLAS courses from Canvas
- Automatically retrieve instructors, TAs, and students from Canvas into CLAS
- Embed CLAS media files directly in Canvas using the Rich Text Editor
- Collect student analytics for CLAS files embedded in Canvas, without requiring additional login
