This exciting instructor-led session with Dr. Allen Sens and Dr. Matthew Yedlin will showcase how they have brought together their disparate fields of Political Science and Electrical and Computer Engineering to explore concepts around nuclear arms control through videos. Participants in this session can look forward to hearing how connecting different faculties and ways of thinking have allowed these instructors to use technology to put together a project and course exploring both scientific principles and global politics. While Allen has assembled iPad DIY type instructional videos to tell stories around arms control, Matthew has made use of Lightboard videos to demonstrate key concepts and Google Earth to locate the North Korean Nuclear Test site. In this exciting session, participants can look forward to viewing iPad DIY, Lightboard and 360 videos that are a product of interdisciplinary at its best.
