As Google recently announced, they will be discontinuing Universal Analytics, so we encourage you to back up your data and make the switch to Google Analytics 4 as soon as possible.
Until July 1, 2023, you can continue to use and collect new data in your Universal Analytics properties. After July 1, 2023, you’ll be able to access your previously processed data in your Universal Analytics property for six months. We strongly encourage you to export your historical reports and set up Google Analytics 4 before this time.
Arts ISIT has provided instructions on how to smoothly transition your site’s analytics from Universal Analytics to Google Analytics 4, as well as how to back up your current analytics data for future reference.
Important: If your site is on the new Arts platform (Arts CMS) or if your site is on UBC CMS but you would like support adding the widget, please contact the Arts ISIT Help Desk at (arts.helpdesk@ubc.ca) with a copy of your script so we can add it to your site for you.
