Microsoft Bookings

Microsoft Bookings is UBC’s self-service scheduling tool for 1:1 appointments and office hours.

It provides a web-based bookings page that connects to your Outlook calendar, automates confirmations and reminders, and can add Microsoft Teams meeting details for virtual appointments. Microsoft Bookings is commonly used for booking student advising appointments, office hours, or consultations, and can be added as a link in your email signature or on your web profile page.

Getting started

For Individual Bookings Pages:

  • Go to outlook.office.com/bookings and sign in with your UBC email (firstname.lastname@ubc.ca)
  • Create a meeting type (title, duration, online/in-person, reminders)
  • Share your Personal Bookings page link by adding it to your email signature or on your web profile page

For Shared Bookings Pages:

  • Shared Bookings pages for your team or group must be requested from UBC IT using the request instructions below before they can be configured for use
  • Once the Shared Bookings page is created it can be configured by using the MS Bookings portal and the instructions to configure the shared bookings page that was created
