Submitting media files for online presentations

The following tools are highly recommended if you are looking to have your students record their own video presentations and upload them to a platform for you to review.

Proctoring Exams

If you are looking to proctor exams, quizzes, or assignments, please review the tools below to find one that suits your needs.

Proctorio
  • Allows you to create test environments specific to your assessment needs with full control over recording, lockdown, and authentication options
  • Prevent and block external computer functions (e.g. printing, copy/paste, open/close, etc.)
  • Review suspicious behaviour through dashboard-style reporting system
Respondus LockDown Browser
  • Custom browser that prevents access to other websites or applications including messaging and screen-sharing
  • Other computer functions are disabled while using LockDown Browser
  • Exam or quiz on LockDown Browser cannot be accessed with any other browser such as Firefox, Chrome, or Safari
  • Whitelist features deny access to any external tool on that list
