Track active headcount
We’ve introduced a new Active Headcount metric based on official Workday program statuses. Available from the 2024 academic year onward, this feature allows you to track all active students in your programs, even those not currently registered in an Arts course.
This metric captures students with a Workday status of Matriculated, In Progress, Pending Completion, Leave of Absence, or Suspended. Students who are Dismissed, Discontinued, or Completed are excluded.
To ensure consistent comparisons with historical data, the Registered Headcount metric remains available as the default for all reporting years. You can easily toggle between these two metrics based on your specific needs.

Understand your current program composition
In addition to new metrics, we’ve added dashboards to help you visualize the current makeup of active students in your undergraduate and graduate programs.
This includes breakdowns by student characteristics (e.g., class standing, international status, and gender), specific Workday program statuses, and whether they are registered in Arts courses.
