Lecture Capture for 2021 Winter Term 2
For the upcoming 2021 Winter Term 2 session, you can request support with recording and/or streaming lectures for your in-person classes. UBC has installed lecture recording equipment in approximately 160 General Teaching Spaces (GTS). These teaching spaces allow you to schedule and automatically record and livestream your lectures. Students who have missed the class or don’t understand a concept will be able to review your lectures asynchronously.
Please complete the survey below to identify your lecture capture needs no later than December 13, 2021 so we have sufficient time to arrange for appropriate support. You will need to submit a new request for each course that requires lecture capture.
Before filling out the form, please go to the Recording and Streaming in Classroom to check if your classroom is listed. You can check your scheduled classroom in the Student Service Centre Course Schedule website.
If you require lecture capture and will be teaching in one of these classrooms, complete this survey to arrange automated scheduled recordings.
If your classroom is not listed, contact your department administrator or Scheduling Services to request that your class be moved to one of these rooms. If it is not possible to switch rooms, please still complete this survey so we can connect with you to identify and provide alternative options. There will be a limited number of mobile recording carts available for sign out. For more details about equipment options, see our Lecture Recording for Instructors page.
