FluidSurveys

Lime Survey

Create interactive, engaging surveys and display the analytics graphically with this secure online application.
Offered through UBC IT, FluidSurveys is an online survey-making tool that is available to faculty, staff and students, free of charge. It offers a clean user interface designed to be intuitive, yet robust with features to accommodate both beginners and advanced users.

License Agreement Update: The UBC Survey Tool contract with FluidSurveys will be available until February 2018. SurveyMonkey, parent company of FluidSurveys, has recently announced that they will be shutting down the FluidSurveys service. UBC IT is still actively reviewing our selection of vendors for the service, and putting together a migration plan to ensure that a new solution will be in-place before the FluidSurveys servers are shut down.

How does FluidSurveys work?

FluidSurveys is an online survey-making tool that is available to all UBC faculty and staff, free of charge. Survey data is hosted locally, on Canadian servers, making FluidSurveys an excellent option for conducting surveys that require the collection of private or sensitive data.

To create an account, simply sign in with your Campus-Wide Login (CWL) credentials at https://survey.ubc.ca and start creating your survey.

Please note: When you log on to your FluidSurveys account for the first time, if you are not prompted to enter your email address, it is possible that the system has automatically filled that field for you. Please make sure you go to your User Preferences (top right corner) and check that the email address associated with your account is of a valid form (eg: the format [cwl]@ubc.ca is NOT valid). If the email address for your account is incorrect, you will not be able to receive any email confirmations, notifications, or updates from FluidSurveys.
